 | Mike Mungenast, Chief Executive Officer and PresidentMike took the ProEquities reins in 2002 from his previous position as the Chief Operations Officer. Prior to joining ProEquities Mike was a partner and Chief Financial Officer for Dover International, a consultant for broker/dealer organizations. He also worked with Coopers & Lybrand in audit and litigation services. In addition to his business focus, Mike gives his time to industry organizations, his church, and Birmingham’s Junior Achievement organization. Mike is happily married to Dana. He enjoys coaching his two children, Anna and Joseph, in sporting events. But don’t let Mike’s accounting background fool you; he’s a renowned prankster with a great sense of humor. |
 | Scott Umstead, Chief Marketing Officer
Scott joined ProEquities in November 2008. He is a highly experienced executive with a strong track record, having held senior management positions with large financial institutions including a Registered Investment Advisory firm, Sweetwater Asset Management. Other appointments include First Allied Securities, Wachovia Securities, Prudential Securities, and Merrill Lynch. Scott and his wife, Judy, are very active with their five children who reside not only in Alabama, but in Tennessee and California. Take note that Scott played football for Auburn - a notable fact of interest to Mike. |
 | Taylor Lovell, National Sales DirectorTaylor joined ProEquities in 2006 to employ his successful pattern of creating, developing, implementing and maintaining sales and marketing systems to attract financial advisors. Previously Taylor was with Sterne, Agee & Leach as Director of Sales and Marketing, Manager of Private Client Group, and Managing Director of Training and Development. His earlier assignments included roles within Morgan Keegan, J C Bradford, and E F Hutton. Taylor and his wife, Kathy, have been married for 33 years and their pride and joy are daughters Jessica (with PGATour.com) and Ashley (an up and coming golf pro at Birmingham Southern). And, if you are really daring, take Taylor on for a game of B-Ball…but be warned he lettered at Georgia! |
 | Dave Timmons, Chief Compliance OfficerDave joined ProEquities in 2001 coming from SouthTrust Corporation where he was the Chief Compliance Officer of SouthTrust Securities, Inc., having previously been a group audit manager. Dave has also achieved his Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) designation from the FINRA Institute at Wharton. Away from the office, Dave enjoys time with his family and riding his Harley-Davidson Road King. |
 | Nate Collins, Director Of OperationsNate moved to ProEquities in 2001 from Regions Bank where he was Operations Manager and Chief Financial Officer for their securities broker/dealer within Regions Financial Investment Company. He previously was also a tax-free securities credit analyst for Regions Financial Corporation. Nate and his wife are empty nesters and spend their newly found time in the gym, hiking, and taking each day as it comes. |

 | Rory Hartley, Managing Director Of Protective SecuritiesRory created Protective Securities in 2004 to support institutional and retail sales and to develop an investment banking division to provide new issue products. Rory came to ProEquities from a regional broker/dealer where he was head of underwriting and public finance, following a number of years in leadership positions with Regions Financial Corporation. Rory relishes spending family time at Alabama’s Logan Martin Lake, where he can be found sailing and entertaining friends. |
